The Role
Reporting to the Farm Manager, we have an exciting opportunity
for reliable and hard-working individuals to join our Farming team in
Carisbrook as Farm Hands. This is a stable and long-term role with
opportunities for career development and growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing
bird welfare, including monitoring feed and water supplies.
- Maintaining
high standards of housekeeping and biosecurity through shed cleaning.
- Promoting
safe work practices and contributing to a safe workplace environment.
- Participating
in continuous improvement activities.
- Manual
handling tasks.
- Operating
forklifts.
- Assisting
with other tasks as directed by the Farm Manager.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have
a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Be
comfortable working in a hands-on role that can be dirty and dusty (full
PPE provided).
- Be
motivated, hardworking, and proactive, with a can-do attitude.
- Ideally
have previous experience as a Farm/Shed Hand (highly desirable).
- Hold
a current forklift license or be willing to obtain one (highly
advantageous).
